SHDA -The Chamber of Commerce of St.Helena works in collaboration with the St.Helena Development Agency (SHDA), whose primary role is to develop, promote and enable private sector development on the island.
AVES - inasmuch as vocational training forms a crucial role in furthering the aims of the private sector, AVES, the Adult & Vocational Education Service provides essential services to entrepreneurs and the self-employed, as well as further education for those already running their own businesses. The Chamber is invited to help in setting AVES goals and direction.
BATA - In addition, the Building and Allied Trades Association, which represents more or less all of the construction industry on the island, has joined the Chamber as an ordinary Member. This collaboration promises to be extremely effective since the two organisations combined now account for probably 98% of all registered trading activity on the island (as well and many unregistered self-employed).
CRC - Recently, the Council has made exploratory overtures to the Capetown Regional Chamber (formerly Western Cape Regional Chamber), who have indicated enthusiasm for a formal relationship between the two organisations.
